Background
In 2006, a group of female professionals including doulas, childbirth educators, and massage therapists came together in the hopes of developing their concept of a positive birthing community. By connecting with one another we discovered a shared love of the birth process. Each member has an ambition for advocating positive development of good childbearing outcomes and the journey that family life can bring.  Montana Childbirth Collective formed not only as a support system for each other but to help women and their partners make informed and empowered decisions. Since it's inception, our membership has increased and changed to include a new energy and renewed vision. Our membership continues to grow, and become recognized in our communities. Our members meet monthly to learn, support each other and continue to work toward our common goals. Montana Childbirth Collective members are committed to supporting each other, being engaged in the community and in our shared desire to work with our mission statement in mind. Our members come from a variety of professional, political and spiritual belief systems - we wholly believe that this enables us to grow personally and better serve our communities and our clients.

Membership Information
The Montana Childbirth Collective is constantly welcoming potential new members! Membership is offered after a potential new member has attended 3 MCC monthly gatherings based on a collective vote. Members pay dues upon joining the group and annually in January of $35. Membership benefits include education opportunities, a wonderful sense of community and access to participation in collective events and group marketing efforts. If you are a birth worker, care provider or business representative interested in sharing our goals and passionately serving to work toward our collective mission statement we would love to invite you to our next MCC monthly gathering. For more information or to be invited to our next gathering, please email us today at birthwithusbaby@gmail.com !

We are an unincorporated, non-profit minded organization serving Southwest Montana. Our collective members provide services of their choosing, maintain their own businesses, and take full responsibility for their own recommendations and actions while serving clients. The Montana Childbirth Collective is not responsible for any consequence or liability incurred by any of it's individual members while they independently serve clients. Members of our collective share a common mission and goals, but their opinions, thoughts, and actions are solely their own during the time that they work with any client.
